Womenstuff Hunt to start!

The Womenstuff Hunt starts November 2 and this year it lasts for two months. At the end of the first month, designers will change the hunt prize, so you'll be able to receive two gifts! Above you can see LnL Square's gift for the first month, a beautiful burgundy ballroom gown. As always, you are looking for a red sculpted Thsirt and, to get a bit of extra help, click the red "i" (hint giver) by the hunt posters. Enjoy!

New Gothic Release, G44-O86!!

LnL is happy to present a new release in the Gothic Collection! LnL G44-O86 is an elegant gothic outfit in black and red. The top is a black buttoned jacket over a red vest and a white shirt with a white jabot. The pants (mod) have a belt detail with a silver buckle. This outfit also brings black gloves, a sculpted collar, red laced cuffs and a coat bottom for the female avatar and one for the male avatar. All accessories are resizable.

Grim Grinning Ghost Hunt!

Halloween is here! The Grim Grinning Ghost Hunt starts Monday and this is LnL's prize, a haunted mansion Tshirt! In the picture above, you can see a detail of the back and sleeve (smaller image). This is a 1L prize. Drop by the store and click the red "i" for a hint! Have fun!

The Boo Bunny Hunt!

The Boo Bunny Hunt starts Monday, Oct 15! This year, LnL has created a fun skully unisex Tshirt for all the hunters. In tones of burgundy with a bunny skull in the front, this Tshirt is complemented by black jeans (mod). Above you can see a detail of the back and sleeve of the prize. You are looking for a wrapped candy and, at LnL, this was placed near a few pretty scary Tshirts (don't forget to click the red "i" hint giver by the hunt poster for an updated hint; we may need to change the prize's location)! London Junkers at the Art of Protest Contest

The challenge was to create an art installation on the theme "Protest". Many artists answered the call and the The Art of Protest Contest was set up.


This is a very interesting event curated by Quan Lavender and held in Second Life in the Art India Gallery where the pieces are carefully displayed. Great job.



 Some of the participants are Betty Tureaud, CaraMia Quan, Corcosman Voom, Eupalinos Ugajin, Hugo Krell, Noni Abeyante, Pol Jarvinen, Queen Bish, Riali Sandalwood, Secret Rage, Silene Christen and Sisi Biedermann and London Junkers.

London created the piece "Paper against Peace" (see above; detail below). In the description of his work, he writes a powerful message:

"In today's world, where money is everything for everyone, we cannot forget that even with our pockets full without peace, we are lost. LnL protests against the system for not understanding that . Millions of dollars are spent in armament when they should be put into the development of Peace, against hunger, against illness, against hate, against ignorance. We  protest for love, for freedom, for beauty, for education, for humanity....for dreams, and for a better future."

The contest prices will be attributed in 3 categories, 3D art scripted, 3D art non scripted and 2D art. The winners will be voted by public votings and by a jury, consisting of art historian and blogger  Rowan Derryth, artist and curator Ux Hax and art blogger and curator Quan Lavender. 

The votings close November 18 and the nomination of the winners will be November 23. The exhibition is open till November 25. So, drop by the Art India Gallery for a visit and do vote for your favourite art work!

Outfit O-72 is an outstanding unisex outfit with a Medieval feel to it, in tones of copper, black and a discreet purple tint. The jacket (worn as a shirt) shows buckled leather straps and belt details. The pants (mod) and the coat match the jacket perfectly both in color and in texture. LnL's New Release, Victorian outfit!

LnL O-81 is an exquisite complete unisex outfit in tones of teal. The top (worn as a shirt) is a jacket on a vest, white short and tie, with a rich embroidery in the front and at the back. The striped pants (mod) are adorned by a buckled belt. This outfit also brings a pair of greyish gloves, a coat bottom for the female and for the male avatars, plus a sculpted collar and laced cuffs. All accessories are resizable for a perfect fit.

Medieval Fantasy Hunt to start tomorrow!

The Medieval Fantasy Hunt is a grid-wide success and LnL is happy to, once again, be a part of this effort! Later today, Outfit-71's release, a dragon!

And here it is! The first release after LnL returned to Borgatti! It has been a while since we released a new outfit and we are happy to present to you O-71! Outfit 71 is a fantastic fantasy outfit with a dragon as the theme. In tones of brown and light copper, it brings a jacket (worn as a shirt) with an impressive dragon blue eye as broch detail and a belt with a dragon buckle in the front. It also brings pants (mod) and gloves with a dragon scales design. This outfit is complemented by a coat bottom for the female and one for the male avatar plus a sculpted collar. London Junkers at LEA's Cube Project!

The Cube Project, an initiative of the Linden Endowment for the Arts, includes the work of over 25 artists gathered by Bryn Oh. The idea is simple and very interesting, to create an art installation using only black and white cubes. The artists worked for 5 days only and what they came up with is quite fascinating.

London Junkers, LnL's co-owner, was invited to take part.

 Since the Cube Project is a collaborative artwort, expanding over 20 sims, the different pieces often intertwine creating an interesting impression.

Mare Serenitatis Closing Time

And the time has come. Mare Serenitatis will be closed August 20. It was a wonderful island! A big thank you to Jo Querrien for daring London and me, Lizzie, to share this adventure with her. Menstuff Hunt Prize is ready!

Ok, here we go again! The Menstuff Hunt will start in a few days and LnL is READY! Grimm Brothers Meets 2012 Hunt prize is out!

Grimm Brothers Meets 2012 Hunt was a fun challenge. Imagine how one of the characters of the Grimm stories would live, what they'd wear in 2012. LnL Square choose Red Riding Hood and we have created Wolf Tracking Goggles (see photo above for details). The prize is unisex and it has a resizer so you can adjust them to your avatar. LnL has been blogged!

It is with great enthusiasm that every now and then LnL Square receives a notecard saying that one of our creations has been blogged. This time it was Devin Vaughn who did an amazing job creating a very well structured post strongly based on carefully drafted visuals. The post is specifically about Group Gifts; Devin blogged LnL's Skully Scorpio Bike and mentioned the Belt with Bag and Set of Keys, also a group gift (at Mare Serenitatis, so if you haven't picked them up, run, because the store there will be closed soon). LnL was very impressed with Devin's fairly recent blog. It features a varied set of styles followed by clear and complete information about the creators, stores and locations. A new beginning for LnL Square!

Welcome to LnL Square! About a week ago, LnL opened the doors to the group members, to customers and hunters in our new location. After a wonderful time at Mare Serenitatis, LnL is back in Borgatti, where it settled after a short period of time in a small rented store.

The look changed from a Gothic feel to a Medieval castle. The store has four levels, two with outfits of the General and the Gothic Collections, one with the Kimonos Collection (small photo, left) and one with the Tshirt Collection (small photo, right). As you enter the store, to the right, there is the hunt information (ongoing and future hunts, hint giver and link to the LnL blog (Hunts label) where you can see all the hunt prizes. Right after the windows, you'll find a wall with general information about LnL and other inworld groups and finally a corner with the group gift and a few fun dollarbies!
