On Thursday (18th) at 2pm SLT, Lewis Luminos will be hosting another discussion in the Lounge. This week - Get In Shape! New today - Outfit 47!

LnL has a new release! Outfit 47 is an impressive highly detailed outfit in dark purple with a top (worn as a shirt), pants (mod) complemented by a collar and a coat bottom. This outfit brings a stunning cloak and a very royal sceptre with fine details held by the right hand. As a final touch, the outfit has a top hat with a cross in the front, skillfully detailed. Accessories are resizable for the perfect fit. As all LnL products, this too is a unisex piece!

We'll talk about the freebie culture in Second Life, and why something that started as a simple way to help newbies has become such a source of great drama. Does the drama outweight the benefits? NEW LnL Kimono store!!

Yes! It's happening! The new LnL store is now officially open! It's a kimono only store with absolutely amazing kimonos. We have decided to go big and release four kimonos!


Kimono 1, a beautiful and elegant kimono in tones of light and dark browns, opens LnL's Kimono Collection! Its texture features an amazing dragon. K-1 brings pants, a top worn as a shirt, a kimono skirt, a flexi hakama (for both the female and male avatar and resizable), the obi (also for female/male and resizable), flexi sleeves and the traditional shoeware, the gettas, plus matching socks.


K-2 is a bright and colourful kimono featuring a very rich and inspiring texture! K-2 brings pants, a top worn as a shirt, a kimono skirt, a flexi hakama (for both the female and male avatar and resizable), the obi (also for female/male and resizable), flexi sleeves and the traditional shoeware, the gettas, plus matching socks.

K-3 is a very traditional kimono in tones of blue and red featuring a texture with a bird! Tonight, Lewis hosted a discussion about Creativity in SL. It was a great topic that brought a lot of people to LnL's Lounge, as you can see in the photo above. We talked about so many issues related to creativity, namely locations to live in SL, constructions, and avies! After the discussion was over, a few of us stayed on and did a bit of an avie show! Below you can see Lewis-dragon, Jo-warrior and Qt-mechanic hand! At the back, arms in the air typing, is London! The photographer (points at myself, Lizzie) was behind the camera! ;)

LnL stores relocated!

SL is always evolving and as a result, LnL relocated two of its stores due to sim changes!

We now have a store at NVS Creations, located in the sim Onyx, property of Sway Daxter. This is a sim geared towards vampire RP. We have selected some of the most vampirish outfits of the LnL collection for you to check!

LnL is also now in Stonebridge, owned by Claira Jules. This sim is geared towards medieval fantasy RP. Here we have placed a selection of medieval outfits for you to browse through. This sim has a fixed landing point, so just walk onwards and as soon as you can, turn left. LnL is right there!

After visiting our stores, do visit the rest of the sims! They are very interesting and have very nice people! Don't forget that there is a dresscode, so please be respectful of that and of all those RPing. Any questions you may have on the RP itself, do send a notecard to the sim owners. Thank you!

All work and no fun... Not!

London and I have been working hard this whole week and since SL is supposed to be not just work, work work, we decided to goof around for a bit!

NEW Release @ LnL - Outfit 46!

Outfit 46 is very special! With an Oriental feel to it, this unisex outfit's elegance features blues, purples and silver tones. The rich texture of both the top (worn as a shirt) and the pants (mod) has amazing details and it is complemented by a pair of gloves, a coat bottom and a collar. It also brings amazingly crafted armbands, that you can draw or sling (touch for menu), matching the outfit! Drop by LnL and check it out!

Introducing Stonebridge!

Stonebridge is a very interesting sim! It is a Medieval Fantasy Roleplay place with a supernatural community.

The wonderful locations are a faithful representation of a medieval village built with great taste and beautiful locations (as you can see from the great photos taken by London).

They have a quest chain you can do yourself or as a group. If you'd like your RP sim added to their quest chain do IM Claira Jules, the lovely sim owner. At Landing Point, don't forget to check LnL's store as well. Oh, and please, if you decide to visit the sim, do dress appropriately! Thank you :)

Discussion: Teens on the grid!

This upcoming Thursday, October 14, at 2pm SLT, Lewis Luminos will host a discussion at LnL! This week's topic is "Teens on the grid". In December the teen grid is closing and users aged 16-17 will be allowed onto the main grid. How will that affect the rest of us? What impact will it have on relationships in SL? Will there be more griefing? Are there any benefits? We'll be discussing these and other related questions. Drop by LnL Lounge to share your ideas and opinions!

On Thursday (7th) at 2pm SLT, Lewis will be hosting another discussion in the Lounge. This week - The Young and the New. What is the newbie experience like in SL these days? What's the best way to help new residents settle in and enjoy their fledgeling SL experience? What can we do to stop them leaving in droves after the first logon, as so many do?. I Love Tim Burton's Hunt!

The I Love Tim Burton's Hunt starts Oct 4, but we have placed the prize in the store already so group members could drop by and grab it before everyone else! This is a very interesting hunt with a great theme! LnL is a big fan of Tim Burton. Two other outfits have been inspired by his films, Alice in Wonderland and Edward Scissorhands. This time we found our inspiration in Sweeney Todd! Come on over and look for a striped snake! It's not difficult to find it at all! Happy hunting! :)
