Medieval Fantasy Fair 4 is Coming Up Soon!

The Medieval Fantasy Fair 4 is almost here! Everyone is working feverishly to be ready. LnL is preparing three new releases plus a complete unisex outfit for the Fair hunt that is just awesome!

However, that's not what brought us here today! I visited the Fair grounds for the first time a few minutes ago and once again Eldo, Gwen and Runa have outdone themselves! The gifted team of the Creators of Fantasy (the organizers of both the Medieval Fantasy Fair and Hunt) have created an impressive and very immersive setup! I can't say more than this for now! Pshh! ;) You'll have to wait a few more days to see it, but it'll be worth the waiting! In the meantime, enjoy the photo above. It's the descending pathway from the Landing Point! More soon!

A Clockwork Spiral Officially Open!

It's officially open!! The A Clockwork Spiral (ACS) Benefit Event is very special for everyone taking part in it. Some of the best creators have joined efforts with an hard working organization team and the result is this awesome event. It's all about Steampunk, Diesel and Dark Victoriana.

As always, we count on your help to purchase the benefit items. LnL has donated the dark unisex outfit (left) and 100% of the money raised will go to the National Kidney Foundation. Thank you so much.

LnL has also decided to make a very special release of three new outfits (right). Red, black and brownish were the colors chosen.

Now, here's the great news!! London and I have decided to set very special prices especially for this event in all... yes, ALL the outfits we have selected to showcase at the ACS! Preparations Under Way at A Clockwork Spiral!

We have a map! The organization team of the A Clockwork Spiral benefit event released this information just yesterday night and now the impressive group of participating stores will have a few days to prepare their booths. London and I have been working hard and we have a few new outfits to release at the event. More information soon!

Black and Purple Hunt at LnL!

September goes on and a new hunt is about to start! This time, it's the Black and Purple Hunt. LnL couldn't miss it! We love both colors. That is why we have prepared this exquisite outfit for you. It includes a top, pants (mod), gloves, a Gothic collar and a skirt/coat bottom (these last two items have the female and male versions and are resizable). And here we go into September! What a busy month it will be. Yes, it's not September yet, but LnL has just finished setting up the prize for the Royalty Hunt. It's a regal tuxedo-like unisex outfit with a top in topaz blue and silver embroidery, pants (mod so you can fit them to any footwear), gloves, a exuberant Gothic collar and a female coat tail with a bow plus a male coat bottom. Medieval Fantasy Fair 4!

And... the Medieval Fantasy Fair is back!!! The 4th edition of this awesome event is being prepared. An absolutely amazing organization team that has everything running smoothly and stress-free, an impressive group of creators of Medieval and Fantasy and a captivating theme - Nordic Legends and Myths, all the right ingredients for a successful event!

Everything is being prepared way ahead of time to avoid any glitches. The Fair will start Sept 20 and will last for a little over a week. LnL has been a part of the Fair since its very first edition and we'll be there this time too! Oh! There'll be a Fair hunt! And yes, LnL will take part! So, keep an eye on this blog for updates!

LnL New store at The Haunted

LnL is happy to announce its continued collaboration with Sweetsister Silverstar. Our friend has reopened The Haunted with tons of activities! The place promises to offer a long time of haunted fun. As always, Sweetsister was so nice to think of LnL and invite us to join her sim bringing our Gothic Collection to a new store. In a near future, there'll be hunts in the sim as well! So, drop by! Around the Grid in 80 Days Hunt Prize!

The second edition of the hunt Around the Grid in 80 Days is about to start! LnL was in the first edition and we are happy to announce that we will take part in this second edition as well. The prize we have prepared for you is a unisex complete outfit with a brown leather texture and very elegant details in a coppery-gold color. It brings pants (mod so you can fit to your shoewear), a jacket-type top, a pair of gloves, a collar and a coat bottom for the male avatar and one for the female avatar (the attachments are resizable). LnL's Medieval Fantasy Hunt Prize!

The Medieval Fantasy Hunt is in its twelfth edition! Can you believe it! Time flies!

LnL is happy to take part in each of these hunts. They are well organized by an amazing team of seasoned Second Life residents who love what they are doing, and that shows. The stores taking part are a rich sample of the best creators in the medieval and fantasy styles. And finally, the hunters, without whom no hunt would be a success, are courteous and always willing to help, within the rules of this hunt.

On to LnL's prize! We love armors and this time we made no exception. The prize, set for 0L, is an awesome unisex armor in tones of dry brown with a wink at the fantasy world. Notice the discreet butterfly-like detail both in the front and in the back.

The hunt starts tomorrow, July 1, and ends July 31, but the prize is out already!

The hunt I'm a Demon starts in a few days and LnL is ready to go! We thought, I'm a demon... hunt... Umm... Evil? Red? No! As usual, LnL doesn't follow the mainstream. We have decided to create a dark, very elegant unisex complete outfit. All prizes in this hunt are marked 1L and it's totally worth it! Cybele Moon at LnL Square's Tower!

LnL is proud to present Cybele Moon's photographic talent at LnL Square Tower. Truly amazing and magical landscapes, both black and white and in color, capture our imagination and take us in a journey of dreams and beauty.

In the words of the artist:

"As Hana Hoobinoo I was rezzed in SL in 2008 and for a while I  enjoyed historic role play and creating quests and other little magical things.  Around two years later I ended up taking a long hiatus from the virtual world and have recently returned to pursue a few more creative quests.  Many thanks to Lizzie Gudkov for her help in this.

Many of the Virtual world landscapes inspired me and I wanted to add a touch of fantasy or dreaminess along with reality in my photos.

I am a photographer, a teller of tales, and a mom  in real life and I work creatively under the name of Cybele Moon. I live on the beautiful west coast of Canada where I enjoy hiking and taking photos of the wonderful landscapes, woodland gardens and more.

I also take much inspiration from my many travels and from my heritage. Tales of the Tuatha are my stories of the people of the mound.

I am somewhat of an introvert in real life  but with many varied interests, history, paleontology and astronomy to name a few.

A DREAM, THE WINGS TO FLY

As a kid I remember spending time playing with paper airplanes. I would fold them in different shapes and changed their qualities to make them fly longer or higher . I cut little ailerons or bent their tails and had a blast by doing so, getting of course different flight paths. The observation of this aerodynamic pieces gave me a lot of joy and provided long hours of happiness and dreaming.  It was then when my love for aviation was born and ever since I have always been interested in the subject , from Leonardo's designs to the landings of the space shuttles.
In this new installation " A DREAM, The wings to fly", I have tried to incorporate some characteristic things like vectors, wings, instruments or clouds, to create a piece that would capture my admiration to such fascinating matter, from the paper plane, the bird or the spitfire. Flying changed us, it brought  us closer and  in the future it will open the doors to our amazing universe in ways we can only dream at this point. 

I would like to thank specially to the Tanalos Art & Torno Kohime foundation for giving me the chance to make this piece and to Nino Vichan in particular.

I also wish to dedicate this piece to my beloved Lizzie for all her support and inspiration. Lizzie, you are the wings that make me fly!!

And last but not least  I also want to thank  all of you  who come to see it and enjoy it, I wish it triggers beautiful memories and make you dream and soar the skies.

LnL New Releases for the World Goth Fair!

Soooo, the World Goth Fair (WGF) is open and there's so much to see and enjoy! LnL went nuts and released FIVE new outfits, all unisex and now ONLY available at the Fair. Plus, *drum roll*, they have a special courtesy discount of 25% while the Fair lasts!! When the WGF is over, these outfits will be sold at the store for the usual LnL price of 400L.

And here are the new releases!

LnL G47-O87 is a black uniform-like unisex outfit. Its top is a buttoned up jacket. The pants (mod) have a discreet checkered pattern in tones of black and grey and a leather belt with a silver buckle. This outfit also brings a pair of black gloves and a sculpted black collar. Finally, it brings a coat bottom (resizable), short for the female avatar and a bit longer for the male avatar.

LnL G48-O89 is a black unisex outfit with a subtle gray and black pattern. The top is a jacket over a red vest and a black shirt with a red jabot held by a silver brooch. The pants (mod) match the top perfectly and have the added detail of a riveted black leather belt with a silver cross buckle. This outfit also brings a sculpted collar and a coat bottom (resizable), shorter for the ladies and a bit longer for the gentlemen. 

LnL G49-O129 is a dark bluish purple unisex outfit. The top is a half open jacket over a vest decorated by frog closures and a jabot with a brooch and a chain pin. The pants (mod) are decorated by a single line of frog closures down to the knee level. This outfit also brings matching gloves, a sculpted collar, a glamorous flexi collar, and laced cuffs (all attachable items are resizable). It also brings a ballroom gown skirt for the female avatar and a coat bottom for the male avatar (also resizable).

LnL G50-O141 is a deep purple unisex outfit with a very rich and detailed pattern. The top is decorated by a back laced jabot with a rare black diamond encrusted in silver. The pants (mod) match the top perfectly as do the gloves. This outfit also brings a gothic collar, a multiple-layered ballroom gown skirt for the ladies and a coat bottom for the gentlemen (resizable).

LnL G51-O148 is a dark black and violet unisex outfit. The top is a dark jacket with a violet shawl lapel and an unusual leathery and buckled end over a gray shirt with a violet brimmed black jabot held by a silver and ruby brooch. The pants (mod) match the top perfectly and feature a violet waist sash. This outfit also brings a gothic collar, a pair of gloves  and a flexible wide multiple-layered skirt for the female avatar and a coat bottom for the male avatar (resizable).

World Goth Fair Now Open!

LnL has been a constant presence in the World Goth Fair for the past few years. We are happy to take part in this event to raise funds for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. The World Goth Fair spreads over three sims and gathers some of the best creators in the Gothic style. LnL is located in Cursed.

Above, you can see LnL's booth at the Fair and the charity item we've donated (look for the box shown in the photo). Below is a more detailed look.

This year, we've created a very elegant unisex outfit in the classic black and white. The top is an open black jacket over a white silk shirt and a white cravat held by a silver crown pin, plus a black lapel handkerchief. The dark pants (mod) match the outfit perfectly. This outfit also brings a sculpted Gothic collar, a pair of black gloves and a bottom tail skirt with a bow for the ladies and a coat bottom for the gentlemen. All attachable items are resizable.

LnL @ the World Goth Fair!

It's official!

LnL is happy to announce that we'll take part in the 2014 World Goth Fair, which will take place between May 15 (noon SLT) and June 1 (midnight SLT). As in previous editions, the World Goth Fair is an annual Second Life event, officially sanctioned by the organizers of the World Goth Day to benefit the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation is a UK based charity that was founded after the brutal murder of Sophie Lancaster, a young woman killed for being a goth.

From the Foundation's website:

"Following the horrific murder of Sophie Lancaster, her family wanted to ensure a lasting legacy to their beautiful, bright creative daughter and so The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was established and it became a registered charity in 2009.

The Charity. (number 1129689)

The aims and objectives of the Charity are as follows:

*To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.

*To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.

*To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from alternative subcultures”or Lifestyle and Dress"

April Hunts at LnL!

Time flies and here we are almost in April! Two hunts will start soon. Above you can see the prize we have created for you for the Sure Your Mum Doesn't Like This Hunt. Leather is usually something mom's don't care too much for, isn't it? ;) So, we designed a leathery unisex outfit with plenty of buckles and cool details. Medieval Fantasy Fair III, HURRY!

Is it time already?! The Medieval Fantasy Fair III was so much fun with lots of amazing creations by fantastic designers, including LnL. The Fair grounds were imaginative and quite a challenge! The labyrinthine display gave it a gripping mind-bending twist and the Rose Hunt gifts were extraordinary. As the last hours dwindle away, the Fair closing today, Sunday March 30, at midnight SLT, and the last minute visitors roaming around, I came across Mr. Caterpillar and simply relaxed, enjoying the ambiance before it's gone for good. As always, the organizers have outdone themselves. The designers have put a lot of effort in decorating their stores and offering their best creations, and the visitors have been courteous and respectful. Well done, everyone! Keep an eye on the Creators of Fantasy blog where new Hunts and Fairs will be announced and drop by the Medieval Fantasy Fair for one last visit! Enjoy!

MFF III - Dark Tales!

As we walked around at the Medieval Fantasy Fair, look who we came across? Little Red Riding Hood. We are not really sure what she was discussing with the Big Bad Wolf, but our gut-feeling tells us that they were up to no good! Each area of the Fair has a tale to tell, a dark tale! So, beware! Go for a stroll at the labyrinthine pathways and find the most unexpected characters of so many familiar stories. The third edition of the Fair is coming to an end and we must add here that the organization team has done an amazing job creating the right ambiance for the chosen theme and providing a well organized, drama-free event. A big round of applause goes to Eldo, Gwen, Runa and Men! The Black Roses are still out there! So, hurry!

MFF III - Did you know...?

... that there's a Derby Horse Race track at the Medieval Fantasy Fair? Take a chance and make a few bets! If you win, you'll receive a prize! There's so much to see at the Fair. Walk around and discover a lot of hidden secrets that include black roses. *hint, hint* Have fun!

MFF III - Dark and Bloody!

Did we say dark and bloody?! Yikes! Look at some of the, aham, friendly creatures we came across while roaming around at the Medieval Fantasy Fair! 

We did try to engage in friendly conversation with them, but they were considerably more interested in checking out the delicious food walking around, also knows as Fair visitors! *evil grin*

On a more serious note, the decoration of the fair grounds is very well done and totally worth a visit just for that. Don't forget that there's an ongoing hunt with 45 free prizes hidden in black roses, including one at LnL's store in the Fair. Have fun!

Darkness without a Castle is no Darkness! So, the Medieval Fantasy Fair invites you to drop by for some information and the Gacha area! Plus, don't forget the ongoing Hunt (photo detail). Inside and outside! A mixture of medieval and whimsical in dark tones of red is what you'll find at this edition of the Medieval Fantasy Fair. The previous two editions were a huge success and this time the orga team has outdone itself once more! Congratulations! The Medieval Fantasy Fair III is Open!

A tale is hidden in the most extraordinary places and the Medieval Fantasy Fair has many dark bloody tale for you! The third edition of the Fair opened just a few hours ago and there are already a large number of fearless hunters around. The organizers advise us not to get lost as you roam the labyrinthic maze of pathways lined with fifty stores of the most creative medieval-fantasy designers in the grid, including LnL. And we have a mission for you! Search for the black roses that contain awesome gifts! As you land at ground level, you'll see the teleporter (picture above). We dare you to venture in the eerily fascinating Medieval Fantasy Fair! :) Enjoy!

MFF III - Did you know...?

... that the Medieval Fantasy Fair III includes a Hunt? Yep, a large number of stores present will offer a gift for this mini-hunt.Check out LnL's prize! Medieval Fantasy Fair III Preparations Underway!

And here it is!!! London and I, Lizzie, are thrilled to take part in the upcoming Medieval Fantasy Fair III. The grounds have been set up and the merchants are starting to work on their stores. I took a walk around and the place looks awesome! The picture above gives you a taste of the mood and ambiance of the Fair. Strawberry Kube Hunt Prize!

The Strawberry Kube Hunt starts in just two days (March 20 till April 10). LnL prepared this complete unisex outfit as the gift for this hunt. It brings an elegant top, matching pants and gloves in a strong burgundy, a Gothic collar, a train gown skirt for the female avatar (see photo) and a coat bottom for the male. The Medieval Fantasy Fair III !!

The Medieval Fantasy Fair is about to start! This will be the third time some of the best designers on the grid gather to show you their awesome creations. Fifty creators will bring you anything Medieval, Fantasy or Gothic. The theme for this year is "Dark Bloody Tales". That should give everyone a lot of room to let their creativity flow! The organizing team, Eldowyn Inshan, Sweetgwendoline Bailey, Alrunia Ahn and Men Dinzel, are working hard to prepare the grounds of the Fair. As soon as I can take a glimpse of it, I'll let you know. LnL is looking forward to taking part in this extraordinary event and we are working on a hunt prize for it. Yes! The Fair will have a small hunt and lots of fun activities to do. LnL @ The Haunted

 

The Haunted, created by Sweetsister Silverstar, has reopened with a totally different look. This time, it's set in an apocalyptic city where Zombies rule. And guess who is back too. LnL, of course. Above, you can see a photo of our store where we feature a selection of some of our best outfits and tshirts.

There's so much to see and do in the sim, after checking the stores. visit the Carnival, and walk around town to get spooked and haunted. Oh, by the way, bring some friends with you! You might need their help to fight off those pesky zombies, human and animal! Above all, have fun at The Haunted!

LnL at the Future Wave Event!

LnL is happy to announce that it's taking part in the Future Wave organized by the Cursed Events team. A lot of work has been put into this new event and everyone is gearing up for the big opening tomorrow, February 15, at noon SLT. Two hunts are about to start at LnL. In this post, we present the prize for the Key To My Heart Hunt. Kubes Hunt Prize is out!

There is something strange up in the T-shirts area! Perhaps you should check it out. Hah! It's the hunt item for the Kubes Hunt that starts in a few days, on January 20. BUT LnL is ready! Yes, we've worked a lot so you could get the prize before anyone else. :) It's a 1L hunt and the theme was quite a stretch for us, considering that LnL hadn't worked with very strict geometric shapes before. The concept was interesting and we like challenges! So, London outdid himself once again and the result is fantastic! This is a unisex prize. The Lady Dark Hunt starts tomorrow and LnL Square is ready! We have designed a complete unisex Gothic outfit that is elegant and absolutely exquisite. This is a unisex prize. The hunt item doesn't provide the hunters with the next Landmark, so the the hunt blog  is your best resource for hints and SLURLs. This is a 1L hunt, and it's totally worth it! Why, you may ask? The Medieval Fantasy Hunt is back!!! It starts January 5 and it will last till the end of the month. LnL has created this amazing complete unisex outfit for you to enjoy! LnL at Gothmas by Gaslight!

LnL is happy to take part in the Gothmas by Gaslight Holiday Shopping Festival! The store looks gorgeous, modesty aside, haha! This event opens December 15 at noon SLT and closes January 5. Enjoy an amazing selection of creators of Gothic. The organizers did an impeccable job, as they always do, and the two sims look fantastic. We are in Cursed, so drop by and check the place out!

LnL at the Weihnachtsmarkt!

Christmas is coming and traditions become an important part of our days! The organizers of the Medieval Fantasy Hunts and Fairs have set up a Weihnachstmarkt, a Christmas Market, and LnL was invited to take part! We have just finished setting up our booth where we present a sample of most of what we do. We invite you to drop by for a visit! The market opens tomorrow, December 15, and it'll be up till December 26. Enjoy!

LnL Square went on a gift rampage! Check it out! A Christmas T-Shirt and pants, black gloves and a red scarf with a silver detail and a topaz stone, a fun Christmas hat with antlers, a Santa hat (not in the photo, but it's in the gift box!), and skis and ski sticks, animated! You can walk, slide and even jump! These gifts will be open to all only during the LnL party December 6, Friday, 2pm SLT. Then they'll be group only! Happy Holidays! :)

UPDATE: Aww... we had to cancel the party due to technical problems. There is an ongoing unscheduled maintenance and everyone is having a lot of issues. The new date will be announced soon!
