A Dream in a Land of Photos
We are very lucky!! One of our members and friend Korgi Lerwick and Squishpaint Aabye, are the owners and developers of Fotoscope!! This is a unique sim dedicated exclusively to having fun and taking pictures. Flawlessly designed, this is a whole photostudio sim, with several stages to compose your images to the rhythm of good tunes!! A place to dream, to let your artistic skills come alive and nourish the photographer in you. Korgi and Squishpaint have managed to translate to the virtual world a sense of what this art is about, apart from the landscapes and activities (awesome gallery in the sky, and the fabulous Free FotoSphere presentation) you can find here a lot of freebies, and in their store you can find a ton of very cool and well priced gadgets for all your needs in the photo world of SL. Come around, wander about, dust off that old camera and shoot, shoot, shoot. A must see!! In the shots Liz and I are experiencing some of the many things to do in the place and saying hi to Korgi on a beautiful summer sunset!! Thanks Korgi and Squishpaint for sharing with us this wonderful dream land!!

Let's go MAD
Here is one of the coolest sims around!! MADPEA GAMES at Orange Island. This sim is devoted to make us have a lot of fun with challenging games. Some more difficult than others but they have one thing in common, the amazing quality they have in their design and story line. If you want to have a wonderful time they offer several of these adventures to do by oneself or with company. Titles like Within, Escape the room, The Kaaos Effect, Notes from the Voyage or Firefly are just some of the offers MADPEA have for us. Today as a matter of fact they are opening their new creation and from 11am SLT they are having a great surprise for all of us with lots of events, music, contests and free gifts, so put on your best gear and come enjoy with all of us the launch of the newest adventure THE MAD SUMMER MISSION. We will certainly spend a great time. In the pictures Liz and I are playing some of those great missions!!

A Peaceful Place
Perhaps this is one of the most peaceful places we have come across in SL, Havelock Shrine. It is set up in the sky so when you arrive to the sim you have to TP yourself even higher by touching the stone at the end of the path. You are flown to a Japanese little square with typical shops and the Shrine at the far end of the sim. Sit down, listen to the water, the air, the birds, the Japanese music, enjoy the moment... Then don't forget to look in the stores for a good amount of nice free items including a beautiful Kimono for men and one for women. Liz and I have this place as one of our best and special spots in the grid!! I am wearing the Havelock Shrine Kimono and Liz is wearing the LnL T13 while sipping some nihon sha!!

Dark, Rainy...Wonderful
A couple of weeks ago Liz and I were recommended to go to Crucible by Mairead Fitzgerald from Prim & Pixel who also provided us with her great creation Belladonna and Belladonald to match the ambience. Little we knew that we were about to TP to such an amazing place in SL. The mood calls for midnight settings and perhaps some adjusting in windlights and turning the sound knob up. Dark, rainy...mysterious, scary...just wonderful.
The place is full of little corners, a dream for anyone in the mood to use the camera and take a ton of pictures!! Check it out, it is a gorgeous sim. In the pictures Liz and I at crucible with Belladonna and Belladonald outfits.

Happy Birthday SL
All of us are happy to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Second Life!! A lot of events are happening all over the grid and we started by visiting one of those special places. Just arriving we found a wonderful exposition at the Black Opal Stand and we were lucky to get a special outfit created for this celebration!! The Expedition Suit for men and women that Liz and I think is a wonderful piece and that is there for everyone to get!! We met a lot of nice people and walked around the place created just for this wonderful occasion, finding a lot of free things, from textures to hair ;-)
Very interesting place to visit indeed, don't miss it. After that we went to chill out to a romantic garden, full of flowers, set the time to midnight and enjoyed the music and the sound of the ocean. The name of this sim is Forest Feast "un jardin d'amants" and it is truly a very beautiful place to hang around alone or with your loved one, with cozy places to sit and relax or have a kiss or two O.O, LOL!! In the pictures Liz and I are with Trilobyte Zanzibar from Black Opal (Thanks Trilobyte!!) and in the other ones Liz is wearing the Expedition Suit at the jardin d'amants.

A Bit of History
Yamato was a battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II 1937-1944. She and her sister ship Musashi were the largest and heaviest battleships ever constructed. Today it´s one of the biggest and best built Ships in SL. The Sim where it is placed (YAMATO OF JAPAN) is very lag friendly, even though the size of the ship. There are several interesting activities to be done, like flying a replica of a Nakajima A6M2-N Rufe Interceptor/fighter bomber (seaplane based on the mythic A6M "Zero" plane) or just taking an automated flying tour with aerobatics, parachuting or shopping. It is definitively a beautiful sim where to spend some quality time in SL and seeing what some prims and history can do together. In the image you can see Liz and I overflying the wonderful replica!!
