MFF II's Enchanted Forest and Hunt!

And here is where we left off, the teleporter to the Enchanted Forest! Did you have fun exploring the grounds of the Medieval Fantasy Fair? :) Yes? Yay! BUT that's not all! You still have a whole forest of magic, intriguing, dangerous, and mysterious secret corners to explore. Yes, there's a HUNT and lots of gifts!!

When you arrive, the first thing to do is buy the HUD which will cost you 5L. Attach it! Now, you are looking for many different animals. Click them ALL! And off you go, into the unknown! 

Here are a few pictures that are only but a poor illustration of the richness of all four ambiances you'll visit!

First, the Forest!

The Forest is a very rich immersive ambiance. I see animals... *opening eyes wide*

Once you've clicked each animal (always wearing the HUD), you'll receive the location of a secret tent filled with goodies!! Look, look! Isn't it awesome?

Medieval Fantasy Fair II Now Open!!!

3, 2, 1! GO! The Medieval Fantasy Fair II is now officially open!  

It was still dark when we arrived (hint, hint, look up) to explore the grounds of the Fair. This is a labor of love where all details have been thought of and a countless number of hours spent in preparing everything for the visitors. The Fair is immersed in a wonderful nature setup and, as you walk towards the booths, you are surrounded by a very special sense of magic.

LnL is right in front of a wonderful pond where two gazebos provide comfy sit-down areas. All the merchants did an amazing job in their booths so make sure to walk about as much as you can. It's worth it!

But the Fair is not only a show of who-is-who in the Medieval Fantasy community of creators. It's also a place where you can spend time just hanging out and having loads of fun. Head out to the Carnival area and explore all the games there.

While you do that... just a tip... BEWARE! There are dangerous things around!!

I tried to talk to this guy about about those strange beings, but he said something about balls that I don't quite remember... I had my eyes on that mace he was holding, just in case!

After all that commotion, we needed a safe, peaceful place to hide... I mean, rest!  And, guess what, we found this absolutely delightful Café. Sit down for a bit and enjoy!

Then it was time to find the Enchanted Forest for the Fair Hunt! Follow the arrows (see picture above) and click the Teleporter in the gazebo. But we'll show you what we found there another day (including LnL's gift, that you can see by clicking this --> link). Keep an eye on the blog. :) 

Sooo, lots and lots of fun things to see and do in an absolutely awesome place! A big congrats to the Orga Team for their unconditional and unbeatable commitment. You did an AMAZING job! As for you, visitors, the Medieval Fantasy Fair will be open until October 6! Come on over and have fun!

MFF II - LnL's Sponsor Gift!

We are almost there! The Medieval Fantasy Fair will open tomorrow, September 21st! And, as promised, here is a preview of the sponsor gift especially made for the event by LnL. It's a unisex outfit with bright grays and blues on reds. It brings a collar, a skirt bottom and a knife (all accessories are resizable). Isn't it great? :) As to the Fair grounds, WOW! Everyone is doing an amazing job! There's so much to see! More, much more to come as soon as the Fair opens!! YAY!

MFF II - Preparations underway!

Ok, we are on a roll! LnL has been preparing the booth at the Medieval Fantasy Fair II! I can't post a SLURL to the Fair grounds yet. Psssh, it's a secret! ;) But I can tell you that it looks AWESOME! Aaaand... this year, LnL is offering a special gift for the quest in the Fantasy Forest. So, keep an eye on the blog for a preview soon!

LnL @ A Clockwork Spiral Benefit!

Go, go,go! A Clockwork Spiral is now officially open and LnL is happy to take part in this event to benefit the National Kidney Foundation! The Fair is open till the 22nd of September, so you'll have plenty of time to drop by the sim Cursed to see what a selected number of awesome creators have prepared for you, featuring the darker side of Steampunk - Steamgoth, Dieselpunk, Diselgoth, Dark Victoriana, just to mention a few!

LnL has set a special fair price on three outfits (see picture above, left); you can find these outfits on the wall facing the street. But, most importantly, we have created a special unisex Steamgoth outfit (see picture above, right).

All the profits made from this outfit will go directly to the National Kidney Foundation. So, if you can, please DO buy this outfit. Just click the poster next to London (see picture above)! Thank you so much!

Exploring The Haunted - Voodoo Island!

When you arrive from the main landing point of The Haunted (use teleporter, it's much easier!), this will probably be what you see. Well, we thought "Easy!" It seemed quiet and, despite the unavoidable eeriness caused by the skeleton hanging from a tree and the disturbingly green fog spreading across the area, nothing unusual *insert cough here* seemed to brew in the darkness. WRONG!

There are all sorts of things out there! It's Voodoo Island after all! Where to start! Well, zombies who tend to multiply when you step on that nice looking green spiral (see image above). Lots of them! Snakes, yes, try stepping on one of them and, take a friendly advice, hold your breath!

If, and I'm just saying if you get stung by a snake, you can go to the voodoo market to find an antidote. While you're there, check out the nice shrunk heads. They'd look great on your mantle piece. *evil grin* Also, you may want to explore around thoroughly *hint, hint*!

In case you don't find the antidote for that nasty bite, you can cook yourself a nice stinky green potion and go with that.

Or simply pretend nothing happened and chill!

Whatever you do, explore every corner, try every animation and, if you can, give the sim a bit of Linden love. Sweetsister Silverstar did an awesome job. There is stuff for sale, there are a tons of gifts, there a lot games to play and, I assure you, this immersive sim is a lot of fun!

Exploring The Haunted - Landing Point!

Here starts the series of posts LnL has prepared for you about The Haunted, the Halloween themed sim created by Sweetsister Silverstar. As you have seen in the preview posts, this year The Haunted is the size of a whole sim and the amount of detail and effort put into it is remarkable. Today, we'll start where else but at the Landing Point! 

As soon as we landed, there was an eerie feeling surrounding us. There must've been something lurking in the dark, for sure. We kept our eyes open and our senses vigilant!

But, of course, despite the warning, I did have to touch the stone, didn't I!
That was the first of several more deaths to come.

You must pay attention to everything! 

Including a haunted Lizzie! LOL

After a lot of dying, strangely greenish and reddish fogs, and a lot of fun poses (check the tree too, check everything!), we had to take a bit of a rest.

While resting, we spotted some information about a few hunts The Haunted is taking part in and their hints (as soon as the hunts start in October). Don't forget to come back to find the prizes!

The awesome organizers of the Medieval Fantasy Hunt and Fair were interviewed by Cinders Vale in the latest episode of Happy Hunting (17:33) on Treet.tv. Aischa Akina, Eldowyn Inshan and Men Dinzel share their experience in organizing both the tenth edition of the Hunt and the second edition of the Fair, this time with the theme "Circus". With the hunt starting tomorrow, September 1, they have a bit more time to work full-speed ahead on the Fair grounds. Check the interview out and kudos to the orga team of the Hunt and Fair! You guys rock!

Medieval Fantasy Hunt X!

The 10th edition of the Medieval Fantasy Hunt starts tomorrow! LnL, as always, is delighted to take part. This hunt has an extraordinary organization team, which strongly contributes to making this hunt a smooth, drama-free event. The hunters are fantastic and always ready to help other fellow hunters. Finally, the merchants, inspired by all this, make a big effort to create absolutely amazing prizes. This time, LnL has created a rich unisex medieval outfit with a strong touch of fantasy in tones of purple and gold. All attachable elements are resizable for a perfect fit to your avatar. You're looking for a Merry-Go-Round horse (check the poster at the store) and click the red "i" (hint giver) by the hunt posters to get an updated hint! Happy Hunting!

Mass Hysteria in October!

News flash! LnL is taking part in the Mass Hysteria Hunt! This hunt has the same organizing team as the ongoing Around the Grid Hunt (click link to see the prize), which is a guarantee of a smooth event. It starts October 3 and lasts till the end of the month. All prizes will be marked 1L, that adds responsability to the vendors to offer good quality prizes. LnL will, as usual, rise to the challenge!

LnL @ The Haunted!

London and I, Lizzie, are happy to announce that this year's LnL store at The Haunted is up and running! The sim has a fixed Landing Point. When you arrive, just walk forward, East. You can't miss it. We are preparing a few specials, so keep an eye on the blog.

To be Haunted!

Are you ready to be Haunted? *evil grin* Next week, LnL will start posting a series about the main locations at The Haunted created by Sweetsister Silverstar. This year she outdid herself! There are lots of great places to explore. The problem is which to choose first. There's the Voodoo Island, the Creepy Carnival, the Pet Sematery, the Blood Beach, the Haunted Playground, the Pirate Bay, the Haunted House or the Dungeon, all disturbingly fun places!

Crank up your volume! The sim has some pretty creepy sounds! And, should you survive the first few seconds (you'll see why I'm saying this when you TP in) *evil grin*, then walk around or fly around, yep, you can fly a giant bat all over the sim, and get ready to be spooked!

The Haunted is Back!

The Haunted is back!

Yes, it's still August, but Sweetsister Silverstar has once more created an absolutely amazing Halloween sim for you to enjoy, starting now! Haunted and Murder Houses, a Carnival, and a few surprises underwater are but a handful of locations you can explore. Beware of the zombie clowns, they're nasty!

This year, as each year that goes by, Sweetsister was so nice to invite LnL to take part in this Halloween adventure! Thank you! Keep an eye on our blog. We'll be mentioning The Haunted a lot!

Medieval Fantasy Hunt in September!

Yes! LnL is in! The 10th Medieval Fantasy Hunt! What a great event! It starts September 1 and it'll last till Spetember 30. There'll be a lot of really amazing creators and great prizes. We'll keep you updated. :)

Also, newsflash! The Medieval Fantasy Fair II had its dates extended, two weeks instead of one! The fun starts September 21, mark your calendars! Plus, there'll be an Enchanted Forest with prizes. As we did last time, LnL will bring you all the details!

Around the Grid Hunt!

Around the Grid in 80 Days is a fun hunt evoking the explorer's spirit. It starts July 27 and ends October 15. LnL has created a really cool unisex outfit with lots of eye-catching details. There's the explorer hat with the steampunky googles, the belt with pocket and explorer's knife and the giant compass worn at the back with a strap that also includes a set of binoculars (everything is resizable so you can adjust to your avatar). Now, the fun detail about this compass is that it actually works! All prizes in the hunt are marked 1L. That is pretty awesome for an outfit like this, don't you agree? A Clockwork Spiral Benefit Event

LnL Square is happy to announce that we will participate in the "A Clockwork Spiral" benefit event. It'll take place September 18 to 22 and it raises fund for the National Kidney Foundation. The primary organizers are the same as in the World Goth Fair (Axi Kurmin and Lokii Violet with the assistance from Dolce Blackflag and Sonya Marmurek); this team is a guarantee of a well organized and fun event with high quality merchants.

The themes are Steampunk, Steamgoth, Dieselpunk, Dieselgoth, and Dark Victoriana, in all variations imaginable. So, keep an eye on this blog for updates! This promises to be a great event!

Double WOW, New Releases at LnL!

LnL G45-O128 is a black and gray unisex outfit with a detailed burgundy jabot held by a mother pearl and spider brooch. The pants (mod) match the top in its texture. This outfit brings a Gothic collar, a pair of black gloves, plus a coat bottom for the male avatar and a ballroom-type gown, open in the front, for the female avatar. All accessories are resizable.

LnL G46-O202 is an all black unisex outfit. The top is a jacket with discreet steampunk buttons that also decorate the sleeves, plus a soft laced jabot in dark gray. The pants (mod) match the top perfectly. This outfit brings two sculpted collars, a Gothic collar and a more discreet option. It also has a pair of black gloves, black silk cuffs, a coat bottom for the male avatar and a ballroom-type skirt, open in the front, for the female avatar. All accessories are resizable.

Exhibition Opening at LnL!

The doors opened at 2pm SLT! 

The "Fractal Art" exhibition was ready, the artist Jo Querrien was ready, LnL was ready!

Champagne for all the guests and an amazing gift by the artist, a fractal portrait. 

This gift will be available throughout the time of the exhibit. 

Jo prepared a very rich and diverse collection that included paintings and rugs. 

Above you can see one of the pieces that was most praised, Angel.

It was fun to see old friends at the show and meet new ones!
