LnL stores relocated!

SL is always evolving and as a result, LnL relocated two of its stores due to sim changes!

We now have a store at NVS Creations, located in the sim Onyx, property of Sway Daxter. This is a sim geared towards vampire RP. We have selected some of the most vampirish outfits of the LnL collection for you to check!

LnL is also now in Stonebridge, owned by Claira Jules. This sim is geared towards medieval fantasy RP. Here we have placed a selection of medieval outfits for you to browse through. This sim has a fixed landing point, so just walk onwards and as soon as you can, turn left. LnL is right there!

After visiting our stores, do visit the rest of the sims! They are very interesting and have very nice people! Don't forget that there is a dresscode, so please be respectful of that and of all those RPing. Any questions you may have on the RP itself, do send a notecard to the sim owners. Thank you!

Discussion: Relationships in SL!

On Thursday (21st) at 2pm SLT, our own Lewis Luminos will be hosting another discussion in the Lounge. This week - Relationships in SL - partnerships - marriages and all the associated drama. But can they work? Or should they be avoided at all costs? What's your experience of relationships in SL? We'll be discussing these and other related questions. London and I have been working hard this whole week and since SL is supposed to be not just work, work work, we decided to goof around for a bit!

NEW Release @ LnL - Outfit 46!

Outfit 46 is very special! With an Oriental feel to it, this unisex outfit's elegance features blues, purples and silver tones. The rich texture of both the top (worn as a shirt) and the pants (mod) has amazing details and it is complemented by a pair of gloves, a coat bottom and a collar. It also brings amazingly crafted armbands, that you can draw or sling (touch for menu), matching the outfit! Drop by LnL and check it out!

Introducing Stonebridge!

Stonebridge is a very interesting sim! It is a Medieval Fantasy Roleplay place with a supernatural community.

The wonderful locations are a faithful representation of a medieval village built with great taste and beautiful locations (as you can see from the great photos taken by London).

They have a quest chain you can do yourself or as a group. If you'd like your RP sim added to their quest chain do IM Claira Jules, the lovely sim owner. At Landing Point, don't forget to check LnL's store as well. Oh, and please, if you decide to visit the sim, do dress appropriately! Thank you :)

Discussion: Teens on the grid!

This upcoming Thursday, October 14, at 2pm SLT, Lewis Luminos will host a discussion at LnL! This week's topic is "Teens on the grid". In December the teen grid is closing and users aged 16-17 will be allowed onto the main grid. How will that affect the rest of us? What impact will it have on relationships in SL? Will there be more griefing? Are there any benefits? We'll be discussing these and other related questions. Drop by LnL Lounge to share your ideas and opinions!

On Thursday (7th) at 2pm SLT, Lewis will be hosting another discussion in the Lounge. This week - The Young and the New. What is the newbie experience like in SL these days? What's the best way to help new residents settle in and enjoy their fledgeling SL experience? What can we do to stop them leaving in droves after the first logon, as so many do?. How are you going to feel after December, when so many new members are teens? Hope to see you all there!

I Love Tim Burton's Hunt!

The I Love Tim Burton's Hunt starts Oct 4, but we have placed the prize in the store already so group members could drop by and grab it before everyone else! This is a very interesting hunt with a great theme! LnL is a big fan of Tim Burton. Two other outfits have been inspired by his films, Alice in Wonderland and Edward Scissorhands. This time we found our inspiration in Sweeney Todd! Come on over and look for a striped snake! It's not difficult to find it at all! Happy hunting! :)

Grimm Halloween Hunt @ LnL!

The Grimm Halloween Hunt starts October 1st but the prize will be in the store later today so group members can take a sneak peek at it before everyone else! :) The outfit is inspired by the Brothers Grimm's tale Rapunzel and it's called Rapunzel's Tear. 20 000 plus visitors and counting!

Since mid January of this year LnL has received more than 20000 visitors! This is an awesome number and we hope to add many more! :) Yay!!! Drop by for a visit or a bit of a chat!

First hunt scheduled for January 2011!!

Yay! Paco and Manu have decided to organise a new hunt. This time it's called What's the News and will happen between January 1 and January 31.

(from the hunt notecard) The theme of the hunt is NEWS! That means you can create items like the following examples:

Like Newspapers, the Internet, Television, Radio... Think about a newspaper-booth with poses, a gown made of chips and platines, a news-reporter-outfit or a paperboy cap

Like the drowning of the TITANIC, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the first man on the moon, Woodstock...etc. Find something related to some news that made the world holding breath for a second (or two).

We are very happy to introduce you to Lewis Luminos, a long time friend who will start hosting weekly discussions at LnL! Lewis is a seasoned SL resident who has hosted several events and who is venturing in this new project. The discussions will take place on Thursdays at 2pm SLT in LnL's Lounge and they will have a different topic every week. This promises to be a very interesting event!! Here it is! LnL is ready to go! As usual, we have set the prize earlier so the group members could pick it up and enjoy it first hand. This time, we went for a very elegant black outfit, with shoulder protections to give it a fisty look and a very cool triple black buckled armband. All elements are fitted for the female and the male avatar. It brings pants (mod), a top part (worn as a shirt), a collar and a coat bottom. All wearable parts are resizable! We hope you enjoy it! Hunting at LnL, big time fun!

Holmes, Poirot or Christie?! Nooooo!! YOU!! You need to put your searching skills to work!!! Summer is almost over and it's now time to get back to enjoying SL fully! One of the many ways you can have loads fun and meet new people is going hunting. LnL has a tradition of taking part in an ecclectic array of hunts! So, right now we are in the Hunt for RP till the end of September and we will have the Make Him Over Hunt 4 starting in a couple of days, on September 20! We have prepared an absolutely stunning outfit! You will love it! LnL will also take part in another very interesting hunt called the Grimm Halloween Hunt, the theme is the Brother Grimm's tales! Blacks and reds are in!! - New release O-45!!

Outfit 45 is exquisite! It brings a very rich texture skillfully designed in black and hints of red. The top is very elegant and it has a discreet touch of a military look. The pants (mod) also in black, have an awesome detail as a belt. This outfit also brings a flexi coat bottom (resizable), plus a coat collar (resizable)! This unisex piece is completed by amazingly crafted armbands matching the outfit!

Outfit O-44 is an elegant unisex outfit rich in textures of red and black tones with hints of gold in great detail. Group Gift - Personal Transporter!

This was the lastest Group gift! A few days ago, London decided to create a Personal Transporter (PT)! So things were set to offer a new Gift to all members! In the notice sent, we said we were offering a surprise gift that was certainly a bit different from what we usually give to group members. And yes, this was it! In my opinion, if I may, the PT does have the LnL style -- nice colours, elegant look and unusual shapes! We hope you enjoyed receiving it and riding it! :)

Early bird special preview!

London and I have decided to place the prize for the Hunt for RP earlier so the members of the LnL group could have a preview of it. And we had a lot of fun meeting a lot of LnL'ers! Here you can see the awesome outfit we have prepared for this hunt!

It brings a shirt, pants (mod), gloves, collar, a belt and a coat bottom (these last three items are resizable). The texture is amazing and perfect for RP'ing!

New Lounge area!

As part of the expansion of the store, LnL has recently added a new lounge area for you to enjoy! It's a colourful, user-friendly space with a cosy environment for a small group. Go downstairs and you'll find it to the right of the stairs. Feel free to drop by with friends! :)

Improved Tshirt area in the store!!

The Tshirt area of the store looks awesome! It was improved by the addition of posters that allow for a better visualization of each Tshirt. Check it out!

More Tshirts are on the way and more outfits too, but the outfits are in a different level, as you all know! ;) Come on over by the store and see how things look now!

Prim-inspiration and art, the Primtings Museum!

London and I went around Second Life yesterday, checking a few locations suggested to us by our friend Dagmar Haiku (thank you, Dagmar!).

One of the places we visited was the Primtings Museum. It is quite an extraordinary place where Art is revisited by using prims. Paintings and sculptures are recreated with amazing fidelity to their originals. Oh, and you can interact with most of the recreations, like London (photo above) and I (photo below) did. Ina Centaur is the owner and a word of appreciation is certainly fair! Great job!

By the way, if you are interested in participating, that is certainly a possibility. They are calling for artists! So, drop by the Primtings Museum and get inspired!

3rd is a charm!!!

Yep, yep!! Here is the third gift from LnL celebrating the expansion of the store! This time, we are offering the Purple Guardian Outfit. It brings a Tshirt, pants and a belt as well!! It's in the Tshirt area for ONE DAY ONLY!! The pic shows London and I wearing the gift and enjoying the new lounge area on the ground floor of the store while welcoming everyone! It was great being visited by some friends from the group and by a lot of new faces!! :) Ok, HURRY HURRY, the gift will be removed tomorrow! We hope you enjoy it!

A present to celebrate!

To celebrate the expansion of the store, LnL has decided to give a present to group members and visitors to the store! It's a black skull Tshirt with black pants (mod) and a skull belt (resizable)! Look for the rotating box inside the store. It's hard to miss!

I took a quick photo of us wearing the gift while London was updating the Tshirt section! The gift Tshirt is free for a day (till later tomorrow), then it will be added to the LnL collection. So, HURRY!! :)

Bigger and bigger!

LnL has grown once again! This has been quite a ride! We started with a small store, moved to a another parcel but ended up in Borgatti where we have been for about an year. Slowly, parcels have been added, both from Borgatti and Memussi, and this is how LnL looks like today!

Amazing, huh? :) You can see the store and the lounge areas as well.

The new parcel is in Borgatti. This allowed us to expand the store something urgently needed due to space and prim limitations. Below, a look at the inside as it is now.

Oh, before I forget! You can still TP to the garden and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. The added plot has a beautiful walkthrough area created by our friend Jo Querrien. :)

Outfit 43 is a spectacular unisex outfit! Its texture reveals teal and gold tones with an absolutely royal feel. Very detailed, the top has elaborate shoulder embellishments. Outfit 42 is an awesome outfit with an amazingly special texture, carefully drawn, in tones of black and grey. It is totally fitted for the male and the female avatar and it comes with a cool dark armband (resizable). The shirt has a chest-long zipper detail and the pants (mod) have an elegant belt. New Group Gift and a visit to Omega Point!

London and I took a bit of a walkabout in Second Life and visited Omega Point, a dark fantasy mysterious world.

The locations are absolutely gorgeous. The buildings are impressive and there are a few spots you can hang out. There are two drivable vehicles (a lot of fun) and a meditation area. Don't forget to set to midnight to experience the magic of the sim fully!

While we were there, we decided to take a photo wearing the brand new Group Gift (to be found by the group joiner and the bike at LnL), an awesome panther T-shirt in black with absolutely amazing texture details! A true LnL, cool and classy!

Also included is a pair of pants (mod) and a belt with a skull buckle (resizable)! The perfect style to travel all corners of Second Life! We hope you enjoy it! :)

We dare you!! The Mystery of Lord Edmund!

London and I stumbled upon this quest the other day. We love adventure quests and are always very curious to see what they are about. Now, we dare you to take the quest as well!

When you TP to Teista, you arrive in the gardens that belong to Castle Dark Draconis (set to midnight for a more immersive experience). At Landing Point, touch the poster of the "Mystery of Lord Edmund" to start! London took all the shots and prepared this cool preview for all of you to enjoy! The last one of this first sequence is of the poster mentioned before. The other photos were taken in several locations of the sim! :)

As you touch the poster, you are given a notecard (NC) with the tale of Lord Edmund. This is his story. While trying to get to his cousins, Lord Edmund's ship sinks and he is the sole survivor. It is said a stranger helped him. After saving Edmund, this stranger whispered into his ear and shared something so shocking that Edmund’s hair turned white and he could never speak again. Apparently Lord Edmund made it back to Draconis but never to his cousins. Why? And who was the stranger? No one is sure. Draconis is now home to vampires and other creatures, it is said. They took over right after Lord Edmund returned. But where is Lord Edmund? And is he the ghost roaming about? Only a mortal can set him free to rest in peace. That is the challenge!

The NC with the story also contains the first clue. You are looking for Garlic Bags , crosses and a number of other objects. Some of them are quite difficult to find! But what is a good challenge without a bit of effort! The most important thing is to pay very close attention to every location (explore the surroundings in detail) and to read the hints carefully. If you get lost, trace your steps back to the last spot where you found something and restart from there. (LnL hint: create a folder and name it ********Quest, for example; the multiple asteriskes will make sure that this folder is the first one after the SL default folders, so it will be easier for you to find it; place the objects and NCs you receive along the way there for an easier access whenever you need to use them! It is also helpful to rename the notecards with reference to the clue given/location,where they were found since some of them share the same name). Explore all the hidden corners and have fun!!

LnL oufits to be RP uniforms!

LnL is pleased to announce its first cooperation with a Roleplay (RP) group and sim!

It's called The Delphic Dinasty and shelters Vampires, Lycans, and other unknown races that existed on the fringes of humanity. We were contacted by Sway Daxter, the Founder and Elder of The Delphic Dynasty Horde, who explained us that they were a vampire family with a combative branch. Outfits O-7 and O-15 will be their uniforms! Do visit the vendors at Elixir and if you'd like to have further information about the sim and its RP, get in touch with Sway Daxter inworld. :)

New addition to the LnL Collection - O-41!!

Here it is! The latest release at LnL Square!

Outfit O-41 is a classical ensemble in burgundy. The high quality texture of the top and of the gloves shows fine details in black and it offers a discreet silver element in the front and on the sleeves. The pants (mod) present a large black belt and can be worn with a coat bottom to give it a more formal look. To top it all, the straight collar adds to the elegant goth look! This outfit as all of LNL products is adapted for both Men and Women including items specifically for both. Both the collar and the coat bottom come with a resizable feature for a perfect fit! New Release - Outfit 40!!

Outfit 40 is a very elegant unisex outfit in an exquisite palette of brown variations! It includes a top (worn as a shirt), pants (modifiable) carefully textured with an impressive large black belt that has an amazing buckle, and a pair of classic gloves. O-40 also brings a flexi coat bottom and a collar with textures matching the outfit and fitted to the female and male avatar for a more stylish look!

A new hunt is about to begin! The Out of This World Hunt starts on July 8th and it promises to be a fun event! At LnL, everything is ready to go! London and I have placed the prize and even took a bit of time to shoot some photos with the prizes of this hunt and the other two ongoing hunts, the Go4Goal Hunt and the Song Lyric Hunt!

Go4Goal Hunt starting!!

Paco Pooley and Manuel Ormidale have organised the Go4Goal Hunt to celebrate the World Soccer Championship taking place in South Africa, starting June 11 and ending July 11 (both the hunt and the championship). The hunt has been carefully planned and impeccably laid out. Everything is going smoothly without the usual last minute stress! Well done guys! New release O-39!! WOW and double WOW!

Outfit 39 is an elegant unisex outfit in amazing tones of blue. The top and pants (mod to fit any shoewear) have been carefully designed resembling an elegant armour! This outfit also brings a flexi bottom coat and a collar both resizable to allow you for your personal fitting touch. The outfit is completed by a discreet neck button. Very elegant!
