LnL is working hard to launch the Gothic Collection! It is absolutely fantastic, the unisex outfits, the posters, the store's ambiance. Everything is falling into place and London and I are extremlely happy. But a collection is not a collection if there is no logo. So, we are pleased to reveal it here first hand! Keep an eye on this blog. The store will open soooon! :)

The Texture Mania Hunt organised by Mandi Blanco might be interesting for you! If you are a creator, check this gridwide hunt, on till March 31. London and I went through the whole trail of participating stores and many of the best in this area take part. The prizes are ful lperm textures, sculpts, templates and tutorials to use in your own creations (not to be resold!). In the photo, you can see London and I at, [K.O.]'s. whose textures we simply loooove!
There is a total of 73 stores (that is when we ended the hunt; I am not sure if more will be added) and with the exception of one or two (not out yet or kind of difficult!) the hunt is totally doable, not difficult at all and very interesting. The group is called TextureMania 2 Hunters (to join click the hunt poster and the link that appears in local chat) and it is a friendly and helpful bunch. The hunt also has a blog here. We have a TON of boxes to open and loads of goodies to check! Happy Hunting! :)
Yesterday at LnL's Lounge there was a very interesting discussion hosted by Lewis Luminos about disabilities in SL. A fantastic group of people gathered and many aspects of this topic were put up for debate with the help of a few guests who are experienced SL residents and who have been active in the mentoring field for a long time, particularly in helping those who need assistive technologies to enjoy Second Life. One of the organisations mentioned that is extremely interesting in this area is Virtual Ability. Their mission as stated in the website is "to enable people with a wide range of disabilities by providing a supporting environment for them to enter and thrive in online virtual worlds like Second Life®." You can sign up for Second Life through the website and receive useful information during the process. Thank you to the participants for sharing their experience, their expertise and their opinions! Join us next week for another discussion about a new topic!

On Thursday 3 March at 2pm prompt, we'll be having another discussion in the Lounge. This week: "Disabled, Enabled". How can disabled people benefit from Second Life? What is being done to assist the disabled? How can builders make better accommodations for those who are differently abled? We'll be discussing these and other related questions. Hope to see you all there.==Lewis (moderator)
Well, well, well! Spring time is coming and that brings the need for change. LnL is no exception! We bring you a sneak peak of the way the store looks now.
There are big plans for a new collection which is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous(hint, hint, check what London and I are wearing)! For this to happen we finished remodelling the store yesterday. The entrance of the store now has three doors, one to the kimono store, one to the garden and one to the Gothic store.
The new store, where the Gothic Collection will be, has several levels. Below you can see the top one. It looks absolutely fantastic!
At the lower leve,l we have set a wide room with a mysterious ambiance and a central area with a fountain. From here you can exit to the lounge where we host weekly discussions.
It's a work in progress, the new collection will be placed within the next few days/weeks. As a result the Kimono store has been changed too, same location, but different structure. More kimonos will be added! To end this short tour, we'd like to show you the garden, where you can sit and enjoy a quiet moment, after a busy day shopping! ;)
We invite you to drop LnL by for a visit! We'd love to meet you! :)
